Daddy Spruced Up My Website!
Daddy took some time to change the theme and add new features to my website. Now all my fans’ comments and notes will display much more nicely. There is a slideshow on the sidebar that will automatically play from my latest Picasa album and a still shot of my latest video clip! Thanks, Daddy!

3 x Pre-7:30
Daddy says having to change three poopy diapers before 7:30 in the morning is a bit excessive. I say when a baby’s gotta go, a baby’s gotta go.

My Top Teeth Have Erupted!
Finally!! The one on my left poked through yesterday, and the one on my right poked through today! Yay! So, that took quite a while, didn’t it? They’re huge! I’m going to look like a little bunny soon. BTW, “teeth erupting” is another teething phrase Daddy hates, along with “cutting teeth,” and ”teeth coming in” (as opposed to coming out)….

Time for a New Car Seat!
It’s not my fault if I’m a growing boy, or if I’m a bit above average in my size. Daddy realized a week ago that I had almost outgrown my current car seat, which was a present for me from Aunt Vanessa and Uncle Gene. It’s served me well since birth, but apparently I was almost too big for it already.
So, Daddy ordered a new car seat—Sunshine Kids Radian 80 in SuperCool color—and it arrived...
Developmental Update
I’m nine-and-a-half-month old now and am developing quite rapidly IIDSSM. Here’s a quick update:
Crawling is now my main mode of mobility (Daddy, who promises to shoot a video of me crawling soon, said that was an alliteration).
I can climb up to the couch with some assistance and climb down properly—with my feet first—with some assistance.
I can bring my hands together to almost clap....
Will Love and Logic Prevail?
Mommy and Daddy have started reading and applying the lessons from Love and Logic Magic for Early Childhood this week. Probably a good time, because I may be getting a bit naughty. Heehee. I can make fun noises by going ppppthhhhhhh with my tongue between my lips, and it’s more fun when I have some food in my mouth. I got some timeouts during lunch for doing that.
On a more positive note, Mommy...
How Big is Xander? So Big!
9-month check-up today:
Height: 29 3/4” (90th percentile)
Weight: 21lb 8oz (70th percentile)
Head Circumference: 19 1/8” (100th percentile)
Daddy said he’s never gotten a 100th pecentile on anything in his life so far. But he said that I get my big head from him (and Mommy).
Level 3 Food I’ve been Eating!
Daddy said he’s been meaning to post this for a while. So, starting around 8 months, I was supposed to begin eating some chunky food, to get used to chewing (turns out my pediatrician Dr. Cohen disagrees and thinks chunky food can come later). So, here are some of my favorite Earth’s Best level 3 foods (n.b. while this post does constitute an endorsement of these products, neither the entry nor...
It’s Official—I can crawl!
I’ve been rocking back and forth on my hands and knees for many weeks now. I made Mommy and Daddy and grandparents eagerly await the arrival of my ability to crawl. (I’ve been creeping on the floor already for a long time.) As of yesterday morning, Daddy verified that I can crawl. He saw me take two steps Monday morning but wasn’t quite sure whether that constituted crawling. But what I did...
Time for Another Transition!
Daddy’s paternity leave from the university is sort of officially over. (The spring semester classes have ended, but the official semester actually ends on Friday with the commencements.) Instead of putting me in a day care, Mommy and Daddy moved Halmony out from California to look after me! So, today, Daddy went to work for most of the day and Grandma watched me.
To mark the occasion—and to give...
