Firsts and a Second
Today was the first time in my almost-two-years of life that Mommy/Daddy had to drive me to have me fall asleep. I refused to nap in my own bed. I refused to fall asleep while Mommy walked me nicely. Then I finally fell asleep within three minutes after Daddy started driving me around town. (Then Daddy brought me home and transferred me into my own bed.)
Today was the first time that I peed on a carpet in the living room (well, on a carpet anywhere). I was running around and playing naked in the living room—I don’t usually do that, I was getting ready for bed—and I started peeing under my play table. Mommy promptly sat me down on my potty, which leads me to my “second.”
Today was the second time I peed in my potty. It’s been a while, and I thought only Daddy was keeping track, but I guess I have been too.
Daddy’s camera doesn’t auto-focus while it’s shooting a video clip, but you can still tell that I had a great time in the rain!
It was a rainy Fourth of July this year, but I didn’t mind! More photos in my album!
Aunt Jaime visited last weekend, and I had so much fun with her! This is at Boulder Bookstore. (I keep asking for her still!)
On Sunday, to celebrate the country’s independence, I slept until 9AM. (Well, I was up at 5:45AM and went back to sleep on the couch with Mommy, but minor technicalities.)
At the Flagstaff Amphitheater picnic area after the Adventure Rabbi service last Friday.
My girlfriend Elsa and I, at St. Julien Hotel, listening to some live tango music last Wednesday.
A good side-effect of my having been in two Jewish weddings in the last month is that I love to dance the horah now! This was after dinner on Friday.
