A Quick Update!
Since Daddy hasn’t been so good at posting updates (he said a new semester started or something), I will have to do a quick summary:
- I’m walking more stably now. I can pick up the pace and almost run. That makes it really fun for Mommy, Daddy and Grandma.
- My vocabulary is increasing: I can say “door,” “whoa!” ”na-na” (for banana) and a bunch of other things.
- Mommy and Daddy stopped moving me into their bed at night when I cry. I don’t like the change.
- I can read some things, like “nose,” “eyes,” “cats,” “dogs,” “look up,” ”arms up,” and a bunch more, thanks to Your Baby Can Read! program that I got from Aunt Diana and Uncle Wooshik!
Mommy eventually coaxes me to walk to Daddy! Daddy shot this vertically to get my feet in the frame. Mommy says incentivizing me with a Kit Kat over the weekend was very helpful for this development!
A Quick Update…
I think I’m getting older!
- Two Sundays ago, I said a bunch of new words—book, cat, toes, etc. All very important words in my life!
- Last week on a couple of different occasions, I walked several steps on my own. In the last few days, I’ve been a little lazy to replicate that.
- I’m sleeping better at night. I’ve fallen asleep nicely without crying two nights in a row, and I’ve slept through the night a few times this past week.
Hooray for me!
I sort of took my first step last night—not simply moving from one large piece of furniture or anchor to another large piece of furniture or anchor! Should we start a pool on when I will be able to walk across the living room?
More of my walking practice from today. Notice how I take the time to thank my fans and show them my gratitude. Daddy did not add the background music track—it was provided simultaneously by one of Daddy’s favorite Pearl Street musician!
Back in Boulder! I’ve been practicing walking with my stroller. Think I can take some hints from the model name of my stroller?
You wanna see me crawl? Well, here I am, at the Farmers’ Market yesterday!
